Affiliate Disclosure

Top Crypto Apps earns revenue through affiliate partnerships. This page explains exactly how those relationships work, what they mean for you as a reader, and what they do not affect. Last updated: July 2026.

🔒 Summary

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click them and sign up or purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our review scores, rankings, or editorial opinions. We only partner with products we would recommend regardless of whether they pay us.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a company you arrived at their website from Top Crypto Apps. When you click one of these links and then complete a qualifying action (signing up for an account, making a deposit, purchasing a subscription, or ordering a card), the company may pay us a referral commission.

The commission comes from the company, not from you. You pay exactly the same price, fees, and terms as you would if you had navigated directly to their website. In many cases you may even receive a welcome bonus or enhanced offer through our partner links that would not be available by going direct.

Affiliate links on this site may include links to crypto exchanges (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, Bybit, OKX, Bitget), crypto wallets (Ledger, Trezor, SafePal), crypto cards (Wirex, Nexo, MetaMask Card), and trading platforms (TradingView, 3Commas). Not every link on this site is an affiliate link. Links to informational resources, regulators, blockchain explorers, and news sources are not affiliate links.

How Affiliate Relationships Work at Top Crypto Apps

Our affiliate policy is built around a single principle: the reader comes first. Here is exactly how we apply that in practice.

✓ Editorial First

Our review scores and editorial rankings are determined entirely by our research and testing process. We score products before checking whether an affiliate programme exists. A product that scores 4.7 out of 5 scores that because our analysis says so, not because of the commission rate. A product that scores 3.2 scores that regardless of whether they are a partner.

✓ We Say No

We decline affiliate partnerships with products we would not recommend to readers. If a product has serious security concerns, deceptive fee structures, or a poor track record, we will say so in our review and we will not promote it via affiliate links regardless of the commission on offer. Our long-term credibility with readers is worth more than any individual partner deal.

✓ Full Transparency

Every page that contains affiliate links includes a visible disclosure notice. This page provides the detailed explanation. We follow the FTC guidelines on affiliate disclosure and the ASA guidelines applicable in the UK and EU. We believe readers deserve to know how we are compensated, and we make that information easy to find.

✓ No Cost to You

Using our affiliate links costs you nothing. The price you pay, the fees charged, and the terms you receive are identical to going directly to the product. The commission comes entirely from the company as a marketing cost. In some cases you may receive a better deal or welcome bonus by arriving via our link than by going direct.

What Affiliate Relationships Do NOT Affect

To be completely clear, here is what our affiliate relationships do not and cannot affect:

  • ✗Review scores. Our star ratings (out of 5) are based entirely on our research criteria: fees, security, features, UX, availability, and regulatory standing. No partner can pay for a higher score.
  • ✗Editorial rankings. Category rankings (best exchange, best wallet, best card) are based on our scored assessments. A non-partner product that scores higher will be ranked above a partner product.
  • ✗Negative findings. If a product has significant cons, security incidents, fee opacity, or user complaints, we document them clearly in our review regardless of affiliate status. Examples: we disclose the Nexo card cashback portfolio minimum, the Wirex 8% rate subscription requirement, and Ledger 2023 security incidents.
  • ✗Product inclusion. Products are included in our reviews because they are relevant and significant to readers, not because they have an affiliate programme. We review products with no affiliate programme and products with no commercial relationship to us.
  • ✗Removal of content. A company cannot request the removal of negative editorial content as a condition of an affiliate relationship. If they do, we decline the relationship.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

Affiliate links on Top Crypto Apps are identified in the following ways:

📋 Page Disclosure

Every review page, guide, or article containing affiliate links includes a visible disclosure notice near the top of the page that reads: “Affiliate disclosure: We may earn a commission via our links, at no extra cost to you.”

🔗 Button Labels

Affiliate call-to-action buttons (such as “Get Coinbase →” or “Trade on Hyperliquid →”) are followed by a small italicised disclosure note indicating the link is an affiliate link and opens the official site.

🔒 nofollow Tags

All affiliate links are tagged with rel=”nofollow sponsored” as required by Google webmaster guidelines. This ensures search engines are aware of the commercial nature of the link and prevents any undue SEO benefit flowing from the affiliate relationship.

Current Affiliate Partners (July 2026)

The following categories include products for which we may currently hold affiliate arrangements. This list is indicative and may not capture every active relationship at any given moment. Absence from this list does not mean a link is not an affiliate link; the page-level disclosure is definitive.
