What is the Crypto.com Card?
The Crypto.com Visa Card is a prepaid Visa debit card issued by Crypto.com — one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency platforms with over 80 million users. The card allows you to spend your cryptocurrency holdings at any of the 80 million+ merchants that accept Visa worldwide, with transactions automatically converting your crypto to fiat at the point of sale.
The card comes in five tiers — Midnight Blue (free), Ruby Steel, Jade Green/Royal Indigo, Frosted Rose Gold/Icy White, and Obsidian — each offering progressively higher cashback rates and benefits in exchange for staking increasing amounts of CRO token for 180 days.
It’s important to note that Crypto.com significantly reduced card benefits in 2022, cutting cashback rates and removing airport lounge access for lower tiers. The card remains compelling at mid-to-high tiers, but the free Midnight Blue tier now offers very little beyond basic spending functionality. In 2026 the benefits have stabilised and the card remains one of the most rewarding crypto spending options available globally.

Cashback is earned on every purchase and paid weekly in CRO. The Ruby tier earns 2% on all spending — on $2,000 monthly spend that is $40/month or $480/year in CRO rewards. Remember that CRO value fluctuates, meaning your effective cashback rate in USD terms varies with CRO price.
